Oren Moss

I was born and raised in Nassau, The Bahamas where I grew up in a Christian home. I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of eight years old, and I would grow up being apart of ministries like AWANA, youth choir, and youth group. After graduating high school, and working for a few years, I continued my education at Pensacola Christian College where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. It was at PCC where God would begin to work in my life and convict me of the sin still in my heart. During my senior year of college, I committed myself to whatever God had for me. After graduation, the Lord provided me an opportunity to move to Hawaii where I taught High School Math and Science at Ko'olau Baptist Church and Academy. It was here that I met and married my Wife Brooke Moss. During our time at Ko'olau Baptist Church, we would serve in many different ministries including Sunday school, choir, kids ministry, ushering, Vacation Bible School, discipleship classes, outreach, and more. It was also during my time at Ko'olau Baptist Church where I grew the most spiritually. We would eventually step forward to dedicate our lives to full-time christian service in a 2022 Missions conference held at our church. We would later decide to be church-planting missionaries to San Francisco, California in December, 2023 alongside Jake and Hali Woodfin. We were blessed with the birth of our baby daughter Haven Lei Moss who was born on May 8, 2024.

I was raised in Mississippi. I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was in the 7th grade through the Abeka Academy homeschool videos. I went on to majoring in Elementary Education at Pensacola Christian College. It was at college that my relationship with Jesus shifted and I became more serious about following what God wanted for my life. I then graduated and moved to Hawaii to teach at Ko'olau Baptist Academy. I served in the academy and church for nine years. God grew me in many ways. I eventually met my husband Oren at Ko'olau and we got married December 21,2021. Oren and I got the privilege to lead our church's VBS for two years along with being Sunday school leaders for our college and career group.while serving in our school and church God laid it on our hearts the need to go out and be apart of the mission field. We surrendered to the mission field October 2022, and year later we realized that it would be planting churches in San Francisco.

I was born in Hawaii on May 8, 2024! I love milk and my strawberry blanket! I like to smile and talk specifically in the morning when mom or dad wake me up.
